Haha! I've just noticed that the 2nd & 3rd line of my post sound a bit like lines from a Ray Davies song.

Left school, the Willink in Burghfield Common (near Reading) Got a part time job with the AA in Basingstoke ...£10 .10p per week - started my apprenticeship with Southern Gas and promptly went on strike...then won the princely sum of £32 playing 3 card brag(had three 3's) while we were sitting in the depot doing fuck all...lost my cherry to a big busted blonde under a tree in Buckinghamshire..went to Pontins at Bracklesham Bay and lost it again! I had a 650cc AJS which I had to sell 'cos they changed the licensing laws...ended up with a BSA 250 Starfire...met Paul and Linda McCartney in London...caught a 24 lb pike in the Kennet and Avon canal on a float fished sprat..well happy

However, at present, I feel like one of those religious zealots who has totally lost his faith.
